Staccato has expanded its high-performance HD pistol lineup with the debut of the Staccato HD C4X, a compact handgun engineered for professional duty use and everyday concealed carry. The announcement was made during the annual SHOT Show, where the Texas-based manufacturer introduced the model as the flagship compact offering in its HD family.

At this year’s SHOT Show, Staccato officially unveiled the HD C4X, a new compact pistol positioned as the flagship compact model within its high-performance HD lineup.
Built around a 4-inch barrel, the HD C4X was developed in collaboration with an elite law-enforcement surveillance unit to ensure it meets real-world operational standards. The company also incorporated input from civilian shooters to ensure the pistol remains practical for concealed carry, home defense, and everyday personal protection.
The launch marks a significant expansion of Staccato’s HD family, bringing duty-grade capability into a more compact, carry-friendly platform.

The HD C4X represents the latest evolution of Staccato’s 2011-style platform, combining performance, reliability, and ergonomic refinement.
Key features include:
Designed for both professional and responsible civilian users, the pistol maintains the shootability and precision expected from a premium-duty handgun while reducing overall size for improved concealability.
The HD C4X will be offered in three configurations, with pricing starting at $3,499. Availability is scheduled to begin February 16 through authorized Staccato dealers and the company’s official website.

Alongside the new firearm release, Staccato announced the creation of the Staccato Training Group (STG), a comprehensive firearms and tactical training division.
The initiative aims to elevate marksmanship and tactical proficiency through a combination of live instruction and online educational content. STG will be led by a newly appointed Vice President of Training and Competition and staffed by instructors from competitive shooting, law enforcement, and special operations backgrounds.
The curriculum will focus on real-world performance, advanced techniques, and responsible firearms use.
Looking ahead, Staccato plans to launch a professional certification program in spring 2026. The program will certify instructors under a unified training standard, expanding access to structured, professional-level instruction across the United States.
With the HD C4X and the rollout of STG, Staccato continues to expand its footprint in both premium firearms manufacturing and professional training development.
